Mr. Edward Shen, is the successor of Master Chen Jin-Cai in North America.
A 19th-generation Chen family Taijiquan inheritor and 11th-generation direct lineage holder, he is among the most influential figures in modern Chen-style Taijiquan, 9 Duan master and national intangible cultural heritage inheritor, he has devoted decades to research, teaching, preservation, and international promotion through systematic training, publications, and worldwide seminars and cultural exchange.
Yang Style Taiji disciple, 9 Duan, Fifth-generation inheritor of Yang-style Tai Chi. Currently serves as the President of the Xi’an Yongnian Yang-style Tai Chi Association, and concurrently holds positions as a member of the Chinese Wushu Association and Vice Chairman of the Tai Chi Committee of Shaanxi Province. Recognized as a representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage of Yang-style Tai Chi.
He is a leading Tai Chi master from China, trained from childhood in a renowned martial family. He remained undefeated in hundreds of competitions, won multiple national titles, and devoted his life to teaching Tai Chi worldwide, educating over 30,000 students, promoting health culture harmony balance resilience mindfulness respect unity excellence tradition discipline legacy ethics community service peace continuity.
Associate Professor at Zhejiang International Studies University and Xixi Scholar, she is a Taijiquan all-around champion of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and consecutive National Games. A national sports medalist and expert committee member, she leads national projects and researches Chinese martial arts culture and Taijiquan health preservation and academic education.
